Professional Certificate in Internet Marketing

SDIU’s Internet Business Academy offers the Professional Certificate in certificateprogram_manInternet Marketing for individuals who want to learn how to start and grow a profitable Internet-based business, or wish to consult with companies who desire to improve business performance through online business strategies.  The lessons will be based on the TOPSS Framework, featuring:

  • Target Market Definition
  • Optimization
  • Promotion and Web20
  • Search Marketing (SEM/PPC)
  • Scutinizing with Analytics

This framework encompasses the necessary lessons (approximately 25 total) to learn the most critical aspects of establishing a profitable online business. Lessons are self-paced in convenient eLearning format, complete with colorful graphics, audio narration, animation, and interactive quizzes. Each month, a Web Seminar will be scheduled to allow students live interaction with a business coach/mentor.  Here’s what you’ll learn:

  • How to get some great online business ideas.
  • How to determine if your business idea has activity on the Internet.
  • How to determine if your business idea can succeed.
  • How to conduct keyword research that will determine the layout of your online presence.
  • How to establish a good website that is friendly to search engines and visitors.

  • How to set up your search marketing campaign.
  • How to promote your site through link building and Web20 methods.
  • How to establish an effective email campaign.
  • How to generate additional income through affiliate programs.
  • How to tap into the mobile market.

Course access will be for 6 months, although students can finish at a much faster rate as desired.
